The Cosmic Cat was painted by Tyler Garvey, David's cousin. “Dave and I always shared our love for cats. Mission to the Sun inspired me to work on this piece with a purple galaxy in mind. Dave had a colorful personality and I think this work reflects that. My vision was a feline nebula staring at a bright star. I know Dave’s stardust is out there somewhere and I want to honor my memory of him through canvas and paint.”
